Paul Is Dead (PID)
In November 1969, internationally famous Beatles bass guitarist Paul McCartney died in a horrific car accident and was replaced by a look-a-like. The remaining Beatles, along with the doppelganger (often referred to by PID'ers as Faul) planted clues in their music, films and album covers alluding to their band mates sad demise and the clever replacement.
