The Bonnybridge Triangle
Bonnybridge, in Falkirk has been dubbed The UFO Capital of Scotland with over 600 sightings being claimed between 1992 and1994 alone. The Falkirk (or Bonnybridge) Triangle lies between Falkirk, Bonnybridge and Stirling and UFO activity is reportedly so profound that in 1997 Councillor William Buchannan of the Falkirk District Council wrote to the then Prime Minister Tony Blair asking for an investigation. The MOD however claimed that they were satisfied that UK air space had not been compromised and were not particularly interested, prompting Cllr Buchannan to write to No. 10 again the following year.
